Automotive-qualified MLCCs offer excellent thermal tolerance

TAIYO YUDEN supplies a portfolio of AEC-Q200 qualified multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) which can withstand the harsh environment in automotive powertrain and safety applications.

 

Benefiting from the raw materials expertise and micro-fabrication technology of TAIYO YUDEN, these MLCCs offer robust and reliable performance whether under the hood, in the chassis or in the cabin.

 

The TAIYO YUDEN range of MLCCs includes some devices with nickel external electrodes and plating, and others with copper external electrodes and plating. Both types offer excellent resistance to soldering heat.

 

The capacitors with nickel electrodes are available in capacitance values ranging from 1,000 pF to 10 µF. The capacitors with copper electrodes offer a broader capacitance range, from 100 pF to 10 µF.
