The STM32WB15 from STMicroelectronics is a dual-core wireless microcontroller which can provide comprehensive Bluetooth® Low Energy connectivity while also running the host application. The Bluetooth v5.2 protocol stack is provided and supported by ST free of charge.
The STM32WB15 includes a 2.4 GHz radio managed by a dedicated Arm® Cortex®-M0+ processor core. To run the main application, it features a 64 MHz Cortex-M4 core which allows for uninterrupted real-time performance.
Highly integrated, the device includes a radio balun, and an embedded dc-dc step-down converter, reducing the need for external components. It also provides a rich selection of analog peripherals, including a 12-bit ADC and low-power comparator, multiple digital interfaces, and up to 37 fast I/Os, 35 of which are 5 V-tolerant.
STM32WB products are supported by the proven STM32Cube software ecosystem, which offers embedded software libraries and tools.
