Broad range of antennas provides high RF performance for communications and positioning applications

NIC Components supplies various families of internal and external antennas that provide for superior connectivity. NIC also supports RF designs with components for antenna matching networks and power supplies.

NIC offers a comprehensive range of antennas supporting multiple communication protocols. The extensive antenna family includes both internal and external antennas for Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth®, GNSS, ISM, LoRa®, Sigfox, UWB, and DECT RF protocols.  

 

Notable products include the NGCL ceramic chip antennas and NGRV vertical chip antennas: thanks to superior design, these antennas generate a comparatively strong magnetic field. As a result, the impact of the human body on the antenna’s reactive near-field behavior is markedly reduced, improving the RF system’s connectivity.  

 

NIC also supplies the NGPM series of ceramic patch antennas for high-precision satellite positioning applications. Sensitive to multi-band GNSS satellite signals, the NGPM antennas feature a monolithic design and ceramic body, giving a smaller and more affordable alternative to traditional stacked patch antennas. The NGPM antennas are optimized for reception of multiple GNSS bands, including G1, L1, L2, and L5. 

 

Supporting these products, NIC also supplies RF filters, inductors and ceramic capacitors that may be used to tune and optimize the antenna.   

 

For power management, NIC manufactures ultra-high current power inductors, low ESR capacitors, EMI suppression components, and specialty resistors for dc-dc converters and battery management systems.
