Board-mount pin header provides between two and 40 poles

METZ CONNECT pin header part of a broad range of board-to-board connection devices

Components for board-level connectivity are facing the need to meet new requirements as device dimensions shrink and boards have to support several applications at the same time.

 

To equip a device to support multiple applications, it is essential to arrange the PCBs inside the housing on top of each other or side-by-side, and to interconnect the boards. A great variety of board-to-board connectors are needed for that purpose.

 

The METZ CONNECT range of board-to-board connectors includes pin headers which enable boards to be connected in a compact, flexible and reliable way, and to compensate for the high tolerances in offset and board spacings.

 

Among these connectors is the PR202xxVBDN pin header. This dual-row, through-hole solderable pin header has a 2.54 mm centerline, and features between two and 40 poles.
