Four-pin FAKRA connectors support high-speed data transfers in automotive RF systems

The HSD (high-speed data) series of four-pin FAKRA connectors from Adam Tech meet rising demand for high-quality signal transmission at high data rates in automotive RF applications. The HSD connectors provide better connectivity performance in high-speed RF systems than legacy single-pin FAKRA connectors.

The HSD series connectors are suitable for 100 Ω impedance-controlled systems, while multiple color-coded plastic housings help to ensure connections are terminated correctly.

The HSD series connectors are available in three configurations:

HSD-04X-S-PRX-SG-C1-TR: a right-angle board-mount plug
HSD-04X-S-PT-SG-C1-TR: a straight board-mount plug
HSD-04X-S-SD-SG-C4: a solder-type socket for cable

The Adam Tech range of HSD components also includes connectors and cables. High-speed cables such as HSD-to-USB 2.0 are available for connecting devices to high-speed RF systems in vehicles.
