On this session, we’ll go into the world’s most advanced and highest volume GaN devices in production. Company experts will showcase the Power Integrations’ PowiGaN products and explain how GaN switches will dominate high voltage power conversion. There are 11 families that incorporate PowiGaN switches. These include the InnoSwitch3 and InnoSwitch4 flyback switchers, LYTSwitch-6 LED driver, HiperPFS-5 power factor correction controller IC with integrated switch, and MinE-CAP bulk capacitor miniaturization IC families – with more families coming soon.

onsemi has been supplying the automotive industry with inductive position sensor ASICs for the past 25 years, recently shipping its 1 billionth sensor. Applications include Automotive “drive-by-wire” systems, such as accelerator pedal sensing, steering and torque sensing, as well as actuators for pressure boost and turbos. Now onsemi is unleashing this technology to the Mass Market, both Industrial and Automotive.
This class will discuss the benefits of inductive position encoding vs. optical and magnetic. We will dive into a technical discussion of “how Inductive position works”, as well as reviewing both automotive and industrial applications and markets. We will specifically review the NCS32100 Industrial Inductive Position Sensor and highlight its “Dual Sensor” technology exhibiting world class Position Accuracy of + 50 Arcsecs or 13.8 milli-degrees. We will also review the NCV77320 Inductive Position Sensor for the Automotive Market rated for an operating temperature range of -40C to 150C.
