Microchip: SmartFusion2 Dual-Axis Motor Control

Easy-to-use hardware platform on which IPs can be easily implemented

Microchip SmartFusion 2 Dual-Axis deterministic starter kit gives designers a great starting point for evaluating time-saving, proven motor control reference designs. This kit is supplied with hardware and software IP blocks, and a fully integrated solution along with a powerful, easy-to-use GUI that enables users to quickly prototype. The kit also supports various communication interfaces including Ethernet, CAN, RS485, USB, and others.

SmartFusion2 SoC FPGAs feature stronger design security than other FPGAs and include differential power analysis (DPA) resistant anti-tamper measures using technology licensed from Cryptography Research Incorporated (CRI). The security architecture was designed with a layered approach in mind, building on top of a foundation of secure hardware.
