Microchip — Inductive Position Sensor Demos

DEMO NAME: LXK3302AR010

The rotary Nano evaluation kit accelerates your sensor development by combining a 180 degree rotary position sensor with an PIC18F microcontroller. It is based on the LX3332A, an inductive position sensor for higher accuracy, immune to motor noise, and that does not need a magnetic target.

The rotary Nano kit, along with Microchip’s free IPCE software, allow you to evaluate, auto-calibrate, and customize this sensor to your application needs.

DEMO NAME: LXK3302AL012

The linear Nano evaluation kit accelerates your sensor development by combining a 50mm linear position sensor with an PIC18F microcontroller.

It is based on LX3332A, an inductive position sensor for higher accuracy, immune to motor noise, and that does not need a magnetic target.

You can also customize this sensor to your application needs.

Advantages of Inductive Position Sensors
Improved Accuracy
  • Very low temperature drift
  • Ratio metric measurement
  • Dynamic signal compensation
Immunity to Magnetic Fields
  • Active rejection of stray magnetic fields
  • Common mode rejection of external noise sources
Lower System Costs
  • No magnets required
  • Directly interface with Electronic Control Unit (ECU)/host
